How did we help Intelligent Transport Systems UK (ITS) rebrand for the digital age?
REBRAND
Problem:
Max Sugarman had just joined as the new Chief Exec of ITS and remembered us from his time at RIA, where we completed their 2019 rebrand. He wanted a similar visual transformation for the industry association he had just taken the reigns of.
Visual Solution:
From interviewing four key stakeholders at ITS, it immediately became clear that a new digitally inspired appearance was required. Our concept designs considered people, technology, and networking bias for the graphics, but we opted to focus on technology because this was something that got people the most excited. The final design comes from digital mapping points that were serendipitously the shape of a kite. This is apt because this trade association flies the ‘ITS’ kite on behalf of its member companies. Our deliverables included the new logo, colour palette, brand guidelines, stationary, fliers, banners, and social media icons.
The new brand identity was launched to critical acclaim in April 2023, with ITS UK member companies remarking, ‘Loving the new branding’ and ‘Great new branding… things look bright for ITS under Max Sugarman’s stewardship.’
