Visiting the New Tube for London exhibition at Kings Cross Underground Station
I popped down to the exhibition, at Kings Cross underground station, on the New Tube for London on the 11th November 2014. The exhibition celebrates the initial design concept, which was put together by industrial design company PriestmanGoode.
The purpose of the initial design concept is to allow the bidding manufacturers and Transport for London to share a similar vision about what the New Tube for London will be like.

Signage
Getting nearer, there is some subtle signage about the exhibition.
1:1
Huge graphic on the wall, I didn’t have my ruler with me but I’d say it was pretty much 1:1 scale.
Pod
The centre point of the exhibition is this pod, with the scale model inside.

Everyone loves a model
The scale model illustrates the new position of the bogies, the wide entrance doors and the interior colour scheme.
