4th Annual Young Railway Professional’s Summer BBQ at Blackfriars, London
Almost 100 of the rail industry’s finest Young Railway Professionals attended the 4th annual summer BBQ on the 5th July 2013. This year it was held at Doggetts Coat and Badge overlooking Blackfriars train station (and the River Thames).
YRP members chatting about fluid dynamics and the fact that membership to the YRP is free.
YRP boast’s a 27% membership of women, exceedingly high in an industry with only 6% women. This is a testament to the forward thinking nature of the organisation and youth’s ability to move with the times and attract the best people into the rail industry.

The event started at 7 and the BBQ started serving food from 8.
