We exhibited at the RIA Innovation Conference on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th March 2025, at the Wales ICC, near Newport. Over the course of the two days, we welcomed numerous guests to our stand and showcased examples of our work. In total there were more than 50 exhibitors, and over 500 delegates, all wishing to learn about the latest developments in the rail industry. Here we see (Left) Will Baxter, Strategic Communications & Designer, Will Baxter Visual Communications, speaking with Marta Berryman, Head of Programme Management, GBRX.

Great to see David Waters, Managing Director, Asset Insights, using the rich picture that we did for them a year ago. It encapsulated their new product offering, PodFlow. Seen on their monitor, as an A2 foamboard printout, and also used in a Rail Professional magazine article.

(Left) Emily Kent, Director, One Big Circle, with a colleague, using the rich picture we developed for their AiVR product suite, being used on the monitor and as a printed out A2 on foamboard.

(Left) Our great friend, Tim Gray, Group Account Manager for Network Rail, Hitachi Rail, has advocated for our business since we started working together in 2012.

Emily Kent, Co-Founder, One Big Circle, here during a spotlight pitch, and if you look closely you can see our visual in use on the monitor.

We found that conversations tended to in one of two flavours. With SMEs, we spoke about how they could use our visuals to condense their offering and promote their business, and for larger organisations, the conversations tended to be more focused on creating a vision for their future.

A highlight of any RIA innovation conference is when Toufic Machnouk speaks, and this year he spoke about the ambitions of the newly formed GBRX.

Over on the UKKRIN stand, the vocal Calum Phelan spoke about the industry partnerships they have forged over the decades, and how the University of Birmingham added impact and value to them.

Over the course of the two days, there was a packed set of speakers in the speaker hall. Here we have Andy Mellors, Managing Director of Avanti West Coast, talking about their innovative improvements.

That’s all from the RIA Innovation Conference 2025, see you in 2026!
