Young Rail Professionals (YRP) is a voluntary organisation set up by four friends who work in the UK rail industry in 2009.
Will Baxter joined the YRP Executive Committee as a voluntary marketing manager in 2013 after the positive reaction he received from a brand review that he wrote about YRP. In his new role he was then asked to action many of the items he suggested changing. This included a new brand identity, shortening the name and rationalising the rather cumbersome website.
Will has now become an integral part of YRP and has contributed to the growth of their corporate sponsorship from £20k to £80k per annum. He is also involved in the marketing of the annual black tie ball, which attracts over 450 members.
