"Thanks Will, I may not have got sponsorship but I did get a promotion." Tim Gray, Racing Car Driver, Derby
Background: Tim Gray has won championships in five successive years and his ultimate ambition is to be a professional race car driver at the top of his field. What he needed was a marketing package that he could present to his current employer in order to gain sponsorship money to follow his dream.
Brief: To design a one off brochure for Tim to present to his full time employer so that they would sponsor his race car ambitions.
Approach: I used his collection of strong images from the track, quotes from celebrities such as Vicki Butler-Henderson who he’d raced against and copy written by his former-racing car driving dad to put together the presentation.
Results: His employer didn't sponsor Tim to fulfil his dreams, his employer promoted him within the company. Tim took the promotion and is continuing his racing dreams with his own money.

Background: Rage Motorsport are UK based manufacturers of high quality off road performance vehicles. Driving one has been describe by Jeremy Clarkson as "The best fun you can have in a field!”
Brief: Rage were soon to bring out their two seater vehicle that would be completely road legal. Rage wanted to take their product to the next level by adding a sexy bodywork to the car. They asked me to work on site and sketch out some designs for their new car.
Approach: After listening to my client's requests, I presented back images of what other extreme machines were on the market today and then showed them three new concept sketches. Each one more extreme than the next.
Results: The chosen concept was used as the back drop for the Rage Motorsport stand at the 2006 Autosport show. To date, 'funding has delayed' any further full body developments for Rage Motorsports. Two years later I did introduce Rage to Parajet and together they created the Parajet SkyCar.
